We have the pleasure of working with Russell Sadur in creating recipe videos for the Booker brand. It all starts with a good recipe. Once these are created Russ and the team gets to work shooting each recipe in a way that can be used to showcase the food as best possible. We have been called upon to provide creative direction in the past to ensure the clips provided work within the edit.
Together with the written recipe, we edit the videos according to the brief and add in our own small pinch of tasty creative seasoning with the edits where and when required. Finally, the finished edits are exported in various file formats and are then shown to the hundreds and thousands of Bookers Budgen’s social media followers.

Working with the UK’s largest local community supermarket brands, LK Motion is behind the edited video recipe videos and special offers for the brand’s digital marketing on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
The process begins with showcasing each brand’s attractive headline offers that will be then showcased on its different social media platforms. First, we source all assets and prepare them for animation, this includes both the offer images and all other vector files. We then look into the design given for the period and reformat it for the square ratio of social media. At this point, any last-minute adjustments and tweaks are made to the films before being finalized for production.
Once all the pre-production has been done we get to work on the animations. While doing the animations, we work closely with the the booker team and provide creative counsel where necessary to establish how the given designs can be showcased in the best possible way on all social media platforms. Once this has been done we check over all files and export smaller lower resolution videos back to Budgens for signoff. Thereafter any tweaks/amends are made and then final files are exported and encoded to the different formats needed.
